Whether you are recovering from an injury, recovering from/preparing for a surgery, or overcoming debilitating pain or weakness, our therapy services provide targeted and effective treatments tailored to your needs.

  • Visits are one-on-one with a physical therapist and last approximately 45-60 minutes.

  • On your first visit we begin with learning about your situation, doing a comprehensive musculoskeletal evaluation, providing an initial treatment, and creating a plan for going forward.

  • Your treatment may include gentle joint mobilization, soft tissue work, therapeutic exercise, and guidance in body mechanics and neuromuscular re-training.

We are dedicated to helping those who are recovering from an injury, managing a chronic condition, or looking to improve their physical function and mobility through personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.

Simply put, our services are designed to help you be able to do the activities you enjoy and to help you reach your goals.

Manual Therapy

At Spine Mountain, we specialize in hands-on therapy to treat musculoskeletal conditions. Our physical therapists are fellowship-trained in manual techniques such as joint mobilization, soft tissue mobilization, and manual stretching to reduce pain, increase range of motion, and improve function.

We also combine manual therapy with exercises tailored to your specific needs, restoring normal movement and promoting overall physical wellness. So, if you have joint or muscle pain, let us help you feel better and get back to living your life.

Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM)

IASTM is a hands-on technique physical therapists use to ease pain and boost soft tissue function using specialized tools to massage muscles, tendons, and ligaments with pinpoint accuracy.

IASTM is typically used to address soft tissue restrictions and scar tissue that can develop as a result of injury, surgery, or chronic overuse. By breaking up adhesions and increasing blood flow, IASTM restores mobility and alleviates pain, allowing your body to heal and feel better.

Testimonials

I drove from Savannah to Pine Mountain twice for Jane to help me with neck pain and decreased mobility; it was definitely worth the drive. Now I can turn my head without pain.  Pine Mountain is fortunate to have such an experienced clinician.
